EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapeutic approach that supports the brain’s natural ability to heal from distressing experiences. Often used to process trauma, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming. Rather than relying solely on talk therapy, EMDR engages the nervous system through bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to foster integration and relief.

In my work, I incorporate EMDR to support clients in moving through stuck places with care and attunement.

While I have completed EMDR Basic Training, I am not EMDR certified. If you’re curious to learn more, you can visit EMDRIA’s website.
